Mouche
Bite the monster head but dont let it eat you. Mobile or PC, Godot 4.4. This is the first game I ever made, many many years ago in scilab (a numerical computation software), here adapted to Godot for memorabilia. Very humble beginnings indeed. Music from Tallbeard Studios.
Tips:
- Select a difficulty (this affects monster movement), start with kids difficulty to understand the game quirks. Tab: Toggle Instructions. R: reset game. Q: quit game. Left Mouse: Bite. Right Mouse: slow down monster.
- The game only refreshes when moving or clicking the mouse as in scilab (remember, scilab was not designed for making games but for serious work). Keeping the mouse pressed has no effect. Playing on mobile is too easy as you can "teleport" the mouse.
- Move away from the monster to extend its tail, then loop around (avoiding the head) to bite its tail (the trailing colored rectangle). Biting the tail is tricky, you have to click where the tail will be next refresh. You can also right click to slow down the monster (but this will contract back its tail).
- You can change the mouse parameters in Instructions menu for "feel". As we adapt (or "emulate") the original scilab code we can only hint at what was the exact mouse behavior. Can also toggle english/french.
